Sending Bulk Emails

While Magento can support the sending of email to customers, MageMojo recommends that a third-party service be used for newsletters and marketing emails. It is possible that emails sent by a Magento store might be blocked by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) if they are determined to be spam or sent to customers who have not expressly provided permission for other than transactional emails.

Transactional emails, such as invoices, shipping updates, etc. are not usually problematic since these do not require marketing permission from customers.

Once an IP is blacklisted by ISPs, it is very difficult to overcome the listing. IP blacklisting is outside of the control or influence of MageMojo.

Intentional spam is a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy and will result in immediate termination of your account.
