Billing in Webscale STRATUS is designed to be simple and predictable. Although Webscale STRATUS is built on top of many Amazon services, each of which have their own individual pricing schemes, our pricing is reduced to only three values–a regular monthly payment of a base price, a small charge per session for sessions over the plan limit, and a charge of the average GB of storage used over the allowed storage per month.
A regular monthly payment of a base price depending on the plan.
A small charge per session is added for sessions in excess of the selected plan. Default session counting from your environment logs will be used if Google Analytics codes are not present or validated on your domains. A default session is counted as one IP address per 20 minutes excluding well-known bots. Sessions are not charged on development environments or RBP plans. Production environment session charging begins when your site goes live. Your site is counted as going live when it uses a domain other than its Webscale provided temporary domain name.
We sample storage used once per day. Storage use includes the primary environment, all associated dev environments and backups. At the end of the billing cycle we average the amount, then subtract your included storage for a final amount.
Sum of daily storage / # of days in billing cycle
2993 / 31 = 96.548 (97G)
Subtract included storage (pro in this example)
97 - 75 = 22G
Multiply times rate (pro in this example)
22 x 0.47 = $10.34
