There is currently no phpMyAdmin or other visual DB editor available on Stratus. It is recommended to utilize mysql-cli, or remote MySQL connection
MySQL Command Line
The database on a Mojo Stratus instance can be accessed directly via the mysql command or you can use the built-in tools n98-magerun and n98-magerun2 to use the credentials already set in local.xml or env.php of your Magento store.
Finding your database credentials
- Open your Stratus Control Panel, then click the MySQL section to expand it. Then open the Info section.
- Various details, including the database user and password will be viewable.
Connecting to the database
Using the credentials found above, you can connect directly:
mysql -h mysql -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD DATABASENAME
Fill in the username, password, and database name (the endpoint is just mysql)
You can also use n98-magerun(2) for Magento and Magento 2 which are pre-installed on Stratus. These commands must be ran from your Magento web root (the same directory as index.php)
n98-magerun db:console #### or run n98-magerun2 db:console
Dropping and re-creating your database / clearing your database
Using the credentials found above, you can drop and re-create your database:
mysqladmin -h mysql -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD drop DATABASENAME mysqladmin -h mysql -uUSERNAME -pPASSWORD create DATABASENAME
