Magento 2 Quick Commands

Several additional sections are available in the Stratus management panel under the Magento section.  Via the panel you can issue Magento 2 commands, deployments and other configuration updates.

Enable Maintenance Mode

Maintenance mode can be toggled on and off, equivalent to the php bin/magento maintenance:enable command. Sites in maintenance mode present a 503 page to site visitors.

  1. Expand the Magento section
  2. Click Maintenance Mode
  3. Check either On or Off
  4. Click Update to apply your change. maintenance mode-87

Store Deployment Mode

The store deployment mode refers to the Magento 2 modes .  Changing the mode here is equivalent to the php bin/magento deploy:mode:set command.

  1. Expand the Magento section
  2. Click your chosen mode from Developer, Default or Production
  3. Click Update to apply your change.

Clear Cache

Clear your cache with one click on this page.

  1. Expand the Magento section
  2. Click Clear Cache
  3. Click the additional Clear Cache button to flush the cache.
  4. Output will be displayed confirming the cache clear in the textbox

Reindex

Reindex your site with one click on this page.  If your store has a large catalog i.e. tens of thousands of products then reindexing may takea long time.

  1. Expand the Magento section
  2. Click Reindex
  3. Click the Reindex button to start the process.
  4. Output will be displayed confirming the reindex.

Deploy Static Content

Magento 2 requires deployment of static assets such as CSS/JS based on your theme.  Deploy via your panel using these steps.  This may take some time to complete.

  1. Expand the Magento section
  2. Click Deploy Static Content to load the form.
  3. Click the Deploy Static Content button to start the process.
  4. Output will be displayed confirming the deployment.
