CloudFront – How does it work ?
If you must know everything start with https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cloudfront/index.html#lang/en_us
On Mojo Stratus, all traffic is sent through a CloudFront distribution covered by the AWS WAF. Assets are cached at edge nodes based on geographic location.
View the sections by opening your Stratus management panel and expanding the CloudFront text.
Here you can disable/enable CloudFront. Disabling CloudFront sets all caching behavior to zero TTL. No assets will be cached. Traffic is still directed through CloudFront and the WAF.
You can also click Flush Cache to invalidate the CDN cache.
HTTP2 is recommended and our default setting, no need to change this unless you have a specific case (like an ancient application that doesn’t support it).
By default SSL forcing is set to On which redirects all HTTP requests to HTTPS. We recommend leaving this set to On. Paths are preserved i.e. http://store.com/sandwich will go to https://store.com/sandwich
